Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to our school community!
I’m delighted to introduce you to our vibrant and inclusive learning environment, where every student is encouraged to shine and reach their personal best. We take pride in our outstanding academic results, which reflect our commitment to high expectations and a rigorous curriculum designed to challenge and inspire our students.
At Adamstown Public School, we believe that understanding how each child learns helps us create opportunities that nurture their unique strengths and passions. Alongside this, our social-emotional approach promotes respect and kindness, ensuring every child feels valued, heard, and has a strong sense of belonging.
Our dedicated team works closely with students and families to provide a supportive and engaging atmosphere. We recognise the many ways students can excel—we find potential, nurture giftedness, and make a difference for every learner. We also value strong connections with our local community, which enrich the learning experience for everyone. When enrolling at Adamstown Public School, families become part of our school family.
Our school grounds provide a wonderful space for both learning and healthy living. Beyond the classroom, students thrive in sports, creative and performing arts, sustainability projects, and cultural experiences such as Aboriginal dance and our didgeridoo group. Our Student Representative Council ensures that student voices are at the centre of everything we do.
I invite you to join our vibrant school community, take a tour, and see for yourself why Adamstown Public School is the perfect place for your child’s education!
Emma Stothard, Principal of Adamstown Public School
