Communication as at 3pm
Dear Parents, Carers and Community,
I sincerely hope that this latest communication finds you and your loved ones well. The unfolding COVID19 situation is difficult on everyone on many different levels and I am grateful for the ongoing support, goodwill and composure of our community as we work through these unchartered days together. We continue to respond to the education needs of our students on site and via the learning at home platform. Over the last few days staff have been collaboratively developing our online and offline learning with incredible gusto and I am so proud of how every member, students, staff and community are adapting bravely to this new ‘norm’ as it unfolds daily. We are thoroughly enjoying seeing the smiles from children attending school each day, in addition to receiving the many photos of those learning at home and engaging with education via either of these platforms.
If you have not been in touch with the school to provide current phone or email details please do this as a priority. Any learning packs not collected at 3.30pm today will be posted this afternoon (unless prior arrangements have been made via the office staff) to ensure continuity of learning for those students at home.
To stay up to date and be informed the following communication methods are being used:
- Skoolbag App
- School Website https://adamstown-p.schools.nsw.gov.au/ and
- SMS messaging
For specific year related learning connection and communication:
- Kindergarten SeeSaw App
- Years 1-4 Class Dojo
- Years 5 and 6 Google Classroom
Please access the schools website to see our established overview of learning that is taking place. The navigation path is School Website – Learning at our school – Learning at home.
Together, we will make calm and informed decisions that will help our student’s learning in the long term. Anything we do, will be sustainable, purposeful and teacher developed.
Thank you for your ongoing support in this time of change. Working together, we will come through this.
Yours Sincerely,
Emma Stothard
